DESIGN BOARD According to the plan of my project, I started to create a concept using national Ukrainian embroidery. This is manual work that takes a lot of time. A pattern is made on clothes, towels or other elements by spinning out red, black and sometimes colored threads. Usually women try to depict flowers or something. The most famous flower in Ukraine is the red poppy. I used this pattern from the design of my project. First, I created a pattern with the help of squares, and then with the help of a mask, I applied it to the previously created logo. All attention is focused on the letters M and Y, and the line with embroidery is located between them. Also mentioning the uniform, I found a mockup of a t-shirt, with the help of Adobe Photoshop I changed the background, made the background of the t-shirt yellow (as one of the colors of the flag of Ukraine and also the main color of McDonald's). After that, with the help of a mask, I put the logo on the T-shirt. I have two optio

research - Style

Research - Style  My favourite designer who inspired me - Leta Sobierajski. She had her own style, lots of colour, patterns, shapes. This all really bright and memorable. When I hear her name I always imagine colorful  and happy picture. I am going to use my ideas (Ukrainian patterns) in the way to make it known and memorable as she did. (Jeffree & Sobierajski) Also, I am very big fan of Salvador Dali. He was a Spanish artist working in surrealism style. This is my favorite style in art. I was very impressed by his method of creating arts. So, he provokes hallucinations to be able to open way to his subconscious. I think this way of thinking is very unique. His the most famous piece of art “Persistence of Memory was created using this method. Also, Dali created his surrealist pieces of art like it was in a dream. He believed that that’s the way to open your subconscious. Salvador Dalí  The Persistence of Memory , 1931 Come back to my project I want to make it original and memorab

8. The use of images in graphic design: When two people are talking - it is a dialogue. Some tries to convince other, or just to show his thoughts. But company can't talk with a customer straight. That's why advertisement exist. That's the way of comunication betwen designer and customer. Using text, images, their collaboration - all this makes a massage to the customer. Graphic Design  (2023) By and large, graphic design is the art of translating meaning into visual images to establish communication between a brand and a consumer. The effectiveness of design in digital (and not only) is determined by two indicators: The influence of a visual message on the audience's perception of the product In order to analyze the impact of visuals on consumer perception in digital, it is enough to evaluate. Often, irrational visual solutions are more effective than detailed ones, but do not forget that the simpler the design, the easier it is perceived by the consumer's eye. Si

7. Colours

7. Colours Color is a versatile and powerful communication tool in design. It can affect how people feel and think. Designers use colors to emphasize things and create a certain mood. Designers and marketers should consider how colors afect people's reactions to messages and brands. What colors should be used? How do colors afect feelings and thoughts? How can you use this knowledge to create better designs that engage your audience? The main colours of McDonalds are yellow and red. The main colours of Ukraine are blue and yellow. But Ukraine also has lots of red symbolic. I will use 3 colours as main, and will add a white one. Vodafone "The Ukrainian flag colors are blue and yellow. The flag displays these colors in two equally sized horizontal bars, with blue on top and yellow below. In modern times, the blue is said to represent peace and the color of the sky, while the yellow represents prosperity in the form of the golden wheat fields that are an important element of Ukr

6. Typography

  6. Typography Typographic design serves a variety of functions, from improving readability and evoking emotion to establishing a consistent brand style. When a brand's logo contains effective typographical elements, it can lead to a positive brand perception. In addition, choosing aesthetically pleasing fonts can make presentations more attractive. Effective typography should grab viewers' attention without distracting them. I was searching some websites on https://www.awwwards.com/awwwards/collections/free-fonts/ , and I found really interesting Ukrainian font which inspired me. Each letter tells us something about Ukrainian history, Ukrainian heroes and culture. https://abetkaua.com/en/ - this is amazing work which I will try to use in my project. Shuper, A. (2023) "A powerful role of typography in graphic design is to establish and grow brand recognition. This is especially true when it comes to logo design. When you think about popular brands like Coca-Cola, Harley-

Social media and contact page

Image
Social media and contact page In order to create a contact and social media page, first I went to the Wix website, which is an online platform for creating sites, then I went to the editor, which allows me to add some pages or change blocks on the site, and I started to create my contact page with contact information and with social pages I decided to add such social pages as Instagram Facebook Linked In. I decided to add all my social media links such as Blog, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. I also added a contact form in case clients want to contact me through the email. After that, I decided to create the design of this block. I chose a minimalist design in black and white colors because now the trend of minimalism is followed in the design and all logos, if we analyze large companies, all logos now make just simplified versions of the design. So, on my contact block, I decided to use 2 blocks, the 1st block is purely related to my social networks and my email.  And the second blo

About me page

Image
About me page Creating an "About Me" page is a fundamental element of building a personal or professional website. It allows you to share information about yourself, your background, and your interests with your website visitors. Here's a step-by-step explanation of how to create an "About Me" page: First of all I log in to website builder WIX. After logging in I will usually find a dashboard or control panel where you can manage your website's content. In website dashboard, find the option to manage or create pages. Choose to create a new page and give it a name like "About Me." Once I've created the "About Me" page, I enter an editing mode. This mode typically resembles a simplified word processor where you can add and format text, images, and other content. I put photos of me and some short story about me. I also added a gradient background which cheers up a mood of a user or customer. I found professional photos of me. All photos
