On the other day, I was thinking about the design, was getting inspired by the nature and digital design as well.
I looked at posters from the previous post, I found them a bit too many details, not perfect composition, and I did not include brand pattern.
On this stage I have been experimenting with colous again, I incorporated a brand colour scheme (which is in my logo).
Also, I did not like the previous poster because of the messy background, chaotic colours and elements. There were not enough of negative space, which is significant for graphic design.
Then according to my brief I have tried to incorporate slogan into my design.
Also I have tried to use a logo as a background in macro and 10% of capasity.
The second poster, which includes map of Cromwell, and 5 main sightseeing places to go for tourist information.
While designing, I have experimneted with composition, colour and size. I did not like the previous photo because of the size map, and logo was not noticable.
Here I created a city (with buildings and attractions) to make poster more obvious for tourists.
Here again, map, logo in the bottom - to see what is better to catch the attention.
Did not like the orange background, as It distracts from the main information.
I used a piece if logo on the background again.
I draw pieces of a map inside, to catch the attention.
To make the map more related to the city, I have applied the same colour.
The little details. Pin dots for navigation, covered with a logotype, are applied to the map to demonstrate that these are places.
The next poster which is Advertising for Cultural center. Unfortunately, I was not able to use Diana and Ayalina works, as on this stage of creating this their work were not ready.
According to my research on Candesign from Argentina, I have applied some techniques from work of that artist into my design, such as bright and vibrant colours, centred composition, chaotic style and usage of brand patterns.
I was using Adobe Illustrator, experimented with colours. I used Montressat font, as it is my brand font.
I borrowed usage of anchor elements on the corners as well from my artist research post.
In my next post I will show finish versions of my posters.
