Process / development 1

I started working on the poster's design. I chose bold typography to highlight the symbolism of American Robin. As a perk has straight lines, I chose that straight San-Serif typography with no other details. 

I experimented with colours, as first colour scheme for posters were more in green theme which related to the oak leave. I have tried orange and red colours as a symbolism of fire and ashes. 

As I got inspired by previous post research, I was trying to use negative space as a part of graphic design elements. 

On this stage I have experimented with colours again, as I did not really liked the Green theme. 

Experiment with blue, dark blue colours which are related to the whale theme. Tried different shapes and composition, 

From the research post about Amsterdam I the "stairs" style from small to large was really popular and I decided to use it in my design. 

It means rising from Ashes. 

Experimenting with pattern as well. I created a romb pattern using a Pattern tool. I chose the romb shape again because of the shaoe of American Robin peak. 

I used photo of the city on the background, and I applied blue colour on the top. 

In attempts to connect it to logo design, I tried orange colour as well. 

Using a pen tool I draw a map of Cromwell,

These are the futher design development of the previous poster. I have tried to use negative space to make the poster more interesting. 

I incoptorated the logo into the poster.

Also tried different techniques, as a gradient background, tint and hue.
