3D outcome prototype

On week 6 I sterted working on development of my 3D outcome, which is a town sculpture. After visiting workshop, I got some idea on how my 3d sculpture will look like. For materials I used wood, thick paper, whiten pen and acrtlic.

As a result of my workshop, I decided to make sculpture consist of 3 pieces. I cut little holes in the wood.

After I tried to put pieces there, but it did not look good, so I cut the holes closer to each other to make it more consistent.

I cut the inside in each piece (each one is different), so if you see through the first hole, you can see the whole construction.

I have learnt from this task, that my sculpture can be seethrough, I realised that I was inspired by Stefan Sagmeister, as he had these type of sculptures.

I used white and black colour for the contract.

Colour, used in this work are same as in the main logotype.

I would change the bottom of a sculpture, I would make it black.

In the next post, I will show the first development of a original 3D sculpture for my project.

Update: I took some nice pictures of my sculpture to show it on a clean white background to be able to see all the details.
