Ideas development 2

In the end of the week I wanted to use a digital world to create ideas, not only on the paper. Using Adobe Illustrator I started from the basic.

Using a Pen tool I created a map of Cromwell. It could help me in creating more options.

Now when I have a vector map, I can make it sharp, detailed, or smooth and minimalistic.

I drew circles using a circle tool; using a rectangle tool I created buildings (as a symbol of a new city) and put a Cromwell in between. The bottom part of the logo is a map, but in 3 sizes which means growing and becoming stronger (after a fire). I used a sun shape which symbolises a sun rise and new begin
ning. American robin is flying to the sun rise.

I also experimented with whales inside.

With a flower inside.

I used different positions and colours.
These were my first thoughts of using map.

I tried to use a minimalistic style, so that It would look good and recognisable on every device and item. Online and offline. The shape of a map is more smooth as I used a smooth shape tool.

Also, I tried to reflect a map so it is a shield. I created a stroke outline and the whole thing (putting two parts together). I used a gradient colour to express the range of rising in every new aspect of a new Cromwell (Nature is a green and blur colour, pink - as a flower.

Here are the examples of Cromwell as a part of the Earth. I deformed the text and put it on the top.

I will show ideas development in my next post.
